The tool room is the reason the parts are right
Most molding problems are tooling problems. Our tool room designs, cuts and maintains the molds we run, so a gate, a vent or a cooling line can be changed the same week rather than shipped across the world and back. The presses sit a short walk from the toolmakers.
Production runs on a floor of presses with robots for part removal and inline checks on weight and dimension. We keep the tool, the setup sheet and the process window on file, so a repeat order runs the way the last one did.
At a glance
- 24 presses on the floor
- 1000 tons at the largest press
- 300+ tools built in house
- 99% first-pass yield, trailing year
WHAT WE HOLD TO
How we work
Tooling in house
The mold is built and maintained a short walk from the press that runs it.
Right material
We help pick the resin for the job, not the one that is easiest to run.
Documented process
Every tool has a setup sheet and a process window, and every lot is run to them.
Straight answers
If a part cannot be molded the way it is drawn, you hear it before the steel is cut.
How we got here
Design review
We review your model for moldability: draft, wall thickness, gates and undercuts.
Tool design and build
The mold is designed, quoted, cut and sampled in our tool room.
Sample and approve
First shots are measured and sent for your approval before production.
Production
Lots run to the setup sheet with inline checks, packed and shipped on schedule.
